A decadent, small-batch deep-dish cookie recipe designed for two, baked in a cast iron skillet for the perfect crispy-edge, gooey-center texture.

- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3 tbsp light brown sugar
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 6-inch skillet.
- Whisk melted butter with brown and white sugars.
- Mix in the egg yolk and vanilla extract.
- Fold in the flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
- Stir in most of the chocolate chips.
- Press dough into the skillet and top with remaining chips.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes until edges are golden.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving with ice cream.
