- 2 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1.5 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil potatoes until tender, then mash with butter and milk.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet, then drain excess fat.
- Sauté onions, carrots, and garlic with the beef.
- Stir in flour, then add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce to create a gravy.
- Mix in peas and transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish.
- Spread mashed potatoes on top and create ridges with a fork.
- Bake at 400°F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
