- 1 lb Ground Beef or Lamb
- 2 lbs Yukon Gold Potatoes
- 1 cup Frozen Peas and Carrots
- 1 medium Onion, diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
- 1 cup Beef Broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 cup Milk or Heavy Cream
- 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 1 tsp Dried Thyme
- Salt and Black Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil and mash the potatoes with butter and milk.
- Brown the meat with onions and garlic in a skillet.
- Stir in tomato paste, broth, Worcestershire sauce, and frozen vegetables; simmer until thickened.
- Spread the mashed potatoes over the meat mixture.
- Broil for 3-5 minutes until the top is golden brown.
