Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken Breast, sliced
  • 1/2 lb Large Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 6 slices Bacon, chopped
  • 1 lb Spaghetti or Bucatini
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 large Egg Yolks
  • 1/2 cup Roasted Red Peppers, sliced
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste
  • Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
  • Fresh Parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente; reserve some pasta water.
  2. Fry bacon in a large skillet until crisp; remove bacon but keep the fat.
  3. Sear seasoned chicken in bacon fat until cooked; remove and set aside.
  4. Sauté shrimp in the same pan for 2-3 minutes; remove and set aside.
  5. Sauté garlic and red peppers briefly over medium heat.
  6. Whisk cream, egg yolks, and parmesan; add to skillet on low heat, stirring until thickened.
  7. Toss pasta, chicken, shrimp, and bacon into the sauce. Adjust consistency with pasta water and serve.
