- 1 lb Chicken Breast, sliced
- 1/2 lb Large Shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 6 slices Bacon, chopped
- 1 lb Spaghetti or Bucatini
- 2 cups Heavy Cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan Cheese
- 2 large Egg Yolks
- 1/2 cup Roasted Red Peppers, sliced
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- Salt and Black Pepper to taste
- Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
- Fresh Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Boil pasta in salted water until al dente; reserve some pasta water.
- Fry bacon in a large skillet until crisp; remove bacon but keep the fat.
- Sear seasoned chicken in bacon fat until cooked; remove and set aside.
- Sauté shrimp in the same pan for 2-3 minutes; remove and set aside.
- Sauté garlic and red peppers briefly over medium heat.
- Whisk cream, egg yolks, and parmesan; add to skillet on low heat, stirring until thickened.
- Toss pasta, chicken, shrimp, and bacon into the sauce. Adjust consistency with pasta water and serve.
