Ingredients
Scale
-
- 1 box of cake mix (any flavor)
-
- 2 large eggs
-
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil (or melted butter)
-
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional)
-
- 1 cup of mix-ins (such as chocolate chips, nuts, or sprinkles)
Instructions
-
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
-
- Gather Ingredients: Collect your ingredients: one box of cake mix, two large eggs, and ½ cup of vegetable oil (or melted butter). Optionally, you can have vanilla extract and your choice of mix-ins ready.
-
- Mix the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and oil. Use a spatula or a hand mixer to blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
-
- Add Mix-Ins: If desired, fold in your mix-ins (like chocolate chips, nuts, or sprinkles) until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
-
- Scoop the Dough: Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
-
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers might look slightly underbaked, but they will firm up as they cool.
-
- Cool: Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the cookies cool on the sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
