This Flourless Cottage Cheese Pizza Crust is a high-protein, gluten-free alternative to traditional pizza crusts. Made with simple ingredients, including cottage cheese and eggs, it’s easy to prepare and provides a deliciously unique base for your favorite toppings. Perfect for a healthy pizza night!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (or your choice of herbs)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Olive oil or cooking spray (for greasing)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it with olive oil or cooking spray.
  • Blend Ingredients:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, eggs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Blend with a hand mixer or whisk until smooth and well combined. If using, stir in the shredded mozzarella cheese for added flavor and texture.
  • Spread the Mixture:
    • Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into a round shape about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Bake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the crust is set and lightly golden on the edges.
  • Add Toppings:
    • Remove the crust from the oven and add your favorite pizza toppings. Return to the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Cool and Serve:
    • Allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the crust by adding spices or herbs to the batter for additional flavor.
  • This crust can be made ahead and frozen for quick meal prep; just reheat before adding toppings.
