  • 3 cups Chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 stalks celery, diced
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh thyme


Instructions

  1. Season and sear chicken thighs in a skillet until golden; remove and set aside.
  2. Sauté onions, celery, and garlic in the same pan with butter.
  3. Add rice and toast for 2 minutes, then stir in flour.
  4. Slowly add broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Return chicken to the pan, cover, and cook for 20 minutes.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and rest for 5 minutes before serving.
