Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Ground Beef (80/20)
  • 2 cups Ritz Crackers, crushed
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Whole Milk
  • 1 medium Yellow Onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup Green Bell Pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Yellow Mustard


Instructions

  1. Sauté onions and peppers until soft.
  2. Mix crushed crackers, milk, and eggs in a large bowl.
  3. Add beef, veggies, cheese, and seasoning; mix gently by hand.
  4. Shape into a loaf in a 9×5 pan or on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
  6. Apply glaze (ketchup, sugar, mustard) and bake for another 30-40 minutes.
  7. Rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
