- 2 large eggs
- 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 medium head green cabbage, shredded
- 1 large yellow onion, diced
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh dill for garnish
Instructions
- Sauté diced onions and shredded cabbage in butter until caramelized and tender.
- Mix cottage cheese, eggs, and flour in a bowl to form a soft dough.
- Roll dough into ropes and cut into 1-inch dumplings.
- Boil dumplings in salted water until they float, then cook for 2 more minutes.
- Toss boiled dumplings into the skillet with cabbage and sear for 3-5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot.
