For the Hot Chocolate:

2 cups whole milk (or plant-based milk)

1/2 cup white chocolate chips

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract (optional)

A few drops of green food coloring (optional)

For the Toppings:

Whipped cream

Mini marshmallows

Red and green sprinkles

Candy canes or peppermint sticks

Chocolate syrup or caramel drizzle (optional)

Edible glitter (optional for extra magic)


Instructions

1. Make the Hot Chocolate:

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
  2. Add the white chocolate chips, stirring until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Stir in vanilla extract and, if desired, the peppermint extract.
  4. Add a few drops of green food coloring and mix until the color is evenly distributed.

2. Serve:

  1. Pour the hot chocolate into mugs.
  2. Top with a generous swirl of whipped cream.
  3. Add mini marshmallows and sprinkle with red and green sprinkles.
  4. Garnish with a candy cane for stirring.
  5. Optional: Drizzle with chocolate syrup or caramel, and dust with edible glitter for an extra festive touch.
