Instructions
1. Make the Hot Chocolate:
- In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
- Add the white chocolate chips, stirring until completely melted and smooth.
- Stir in vanilla extract and, if desired, the peppermint extract.
- Add a few drops of green food coloring and mix until the color is evenly distributed.
2. Serve:
- Pour the hot chocolate into mugs.
- Top with a generous swirl of whipped cream.
- Add mini marshmallows and sprinkle with red and green sprinkles.
- Garnish with a candy cane for stirring.
- Optional: Drizzle with chocolate syrup or caramel, and dust with edible glitter for an extra festive touch.
