- 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup Dutch-Processed Cocoa Powder
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Sea Salt
- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, melted and cooled
- 3/4 cup Light Brown Sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 Large Egg, room temperature
- 1 Egg Yolk, room temperature
- 2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 1/2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets.
- Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix melted butter with brown and granulated sugars.
- Whisk in the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Fold dry ingredients into wet, then fold in chocolate chips.
- Chill dough for 30 minutes.
- Scoop 2-tbsp balls onto sheets and bake for 9-11 minutes.
- Cool on pan for 5-10 minutes before moving to a rack.
