  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Large Egg, room temperature
  • 1 Egg Yolk, room temperature
  • 2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets.
  2. Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Mix melted butter with brown and granulated sugars.
  4. Whisk in the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Fold dry ingredients into wet, then fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Chill dough for 30 minutes.
  7. Scoop 2-tbsp balls onto sheets and bake for 9-11 minutes.
  8. Cool on pan for 5-10 minutes before moving to a rack.
