Description

A stunning, naturally blue herbal tea that changes color to purple with lemon juice, infused with fresh mint for a refreshing finish.


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Dried Butterfly Pea Flowers
  • 1 handful Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 4 cups Filtered Water
  • 2-3 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2-4 tbsp Honey or Simple Syrup
  • Ice Cubes


Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of filtered water.
  2. Steep the dried flowers and fresh mint leaves in the hot water for 10 minutes.
  3. Strain the mixture and stir in your sweetener while warm.
  4. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until cold.
  5. Fill glasses with ice and pour in the blue tea.
  6. Add fresh lemon juice to each glass to trigger the color change.
  7. Garnish with extra mint and serve immediately.
