- 1 lb Ground Beef (80/20 or 90/10)
- 8 oz Cremini Mushrooms, sliced
- 2 lbs Yukon Gold Potatoes
- 1 medium Yellow Onion, diced
- 2 Carrots, diced
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Beef Broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup Frozen Peas
- 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 1/4 cup Whole Milk
- 1 tsp Fresh Thyme
- 1 tsp Fresh Rosemary
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil peeled potatoes until tender, then mash with butter and milk.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet; remove and set aside.
- Sauté mushrooms until golden, then add onions, carrots, and garlic.
- Stir in flour, then slowly add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce to create a gravy.
- Mix the beef and peas back into the gravy mixture.
- Transfer to a baking dish and top with mashed potatoes.
- Bake at 400°F for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
