  • 1 lb Ground Beef (80/20 or 90/10)
  • 8 oz Cremini Mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 lbs Yukon Gold Potatoes
  • 1 medium Yellow Onion, diced
  • 2 Carrots, diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Frozen Peas
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1/4 cup Whole Milk
  • 1 tsp Fresh Thyme
  • 1 tsp Fresh Rosemary
  • Salt and Pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Boil peeled potatoes until tender, then mash with butter and milk.
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet; remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté mushrooms until golden, then add onions, carrots, and garlic.
  4. Stir in flour, then slowly add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce to create a gravy.
  5. Mix the beef and peas back into the gravy mixture.
  6. Transfer to a baking dish and top with mashed potatoes.
  7. Bake at 400°F for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
