- 1 lb Flank Steak, thinly sliced
- 3 Bell Peppers, sliced
- 2 cups Jasmine Rice, cooked
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Fresh Ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
- 1 tsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the jasmine rice according to package instructions.
- Thinly slice the beef against the grain and toss with cornstarch and a splash of soy sauce.
- Sauté sliced bell peppers in a hot skillet with oil for 3-4 minutes; remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sear the beef strips over high heat until browned.
- Add garlic and ginger to the beef and cook for 30 seconds.
- Whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, and brown sugar, then pour over the beef.
- Add peppers back to the pan and stir until the sauce thickens and coats everything.
- Serve the mixture over the cooked rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
