Description
Savor the rich taste of juicy chicken breasts stuffed with crispy bacon and melted cheese. A perfect recipe for family dinners!
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil for cooking
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
In a bowl, mix together the crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Using a sharp knife, make a pocket in each chicken breast by cutting horizontally, being careful not to cut all the way through.
Stuff each pocket generously with the bacon and cheese mixture, then secure with toothpicks if necessary.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear each stuffed chicken breast for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
Transfer the chicken to the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
