  • Cobbler Topping:
    • 1 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1/2 cup butter, melted
    • 2 teaspoons baking powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare Peaches:
    • For fresh peaches, toss them with sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
    • For canned peaches, do the same with the drained peaches.
  3. Make the Topping: In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and melted butter until smooth.
  4. Assemble: Pour the peach mixture into a greased baking dish. Pour the topping evenly over the peaches.
  5. Bake: Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Cool: Let it cool slightly before serving.
