- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 4 strips bacon, chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

- Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped bacon and cook until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving drippings in the skillet.
- In the same skillet, add onion and garlic; sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Add diced chicken, seasoning with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- Stir in sliced mushrooms and cook for another 5 minutes until they soften.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese, simmering for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Add the cooked pasta and crispy bacon to the skillet, tossing to coat in the creamy sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
